Indonesia coach, Dadang Haris Purnomo said expressed his thanks after success passed the medals target for Indonesia team. “We could not talk gold medal right now. The most fundamental is how we don't fail with Thailand and Malaysia," said him.
He adds, Indonesia still best in South-East Asia now. It’s big possibility that Indonesia position is 2 or 3 in Asia. He refuses failing strategy with Steven Wong in qualification session. Wong just comes to final session to seeing strength of its opponents. So in final, he easily defeats all opponents.
"Actually we lack of experiences. Wong winning last year championship and condition of field is rather dry so it another benefit for him," Dadang added.
Steven Wong confesses happiness with this result. At least, the condition of track not too hard like before. His strategy runs well before final session. So he can pedal with maximum speed. Wong confesses has three weeks preparation before following this Asian 3rd Cycling Championship (ACC). However, according to him, this preparation stills not enough after his gain of national winner of BMX in China. So how could it look like, if he gets full preparations? Just Wong knows it.
